About me.
In case you didn't catch it my name is Alexis Leyland but everyone calls me Lexy. I'm a print and digital designer with over 15 years industry experience in B2B and B2C graphics.
I have a passion for graphic design and have worked with a number of large brands over the years including,
Laura Ashley, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Homebase and Costco to name a few. I currently manage a studio of 4 designers, providing art direction and brand guidance to the team.
My design experience is varied and extensive, the print side includes, from concept to completion - logo design, brochure/catalogue design and artwork, rebranding, brand guidelines, in store POS, packaging, labels, promotions and photo retouching. I also have experience of digital design, including web banners, website UI design, email UI design and html/css coding as well as video editing and experience of motion graphics. Along side my Graphic Design qualifications I have obtained a Digital Marketing qualification to support my understanding of the digital sector.
Outside of work i'm a mum to 2 beautiful children and I can often be spotted spending my weekends touring the West Country going to one of many adventure parks, and when the weather allows it, going to the beach. At home I love to cook, my favourite cuisine at the moment has to be Korean, beef bulgogi is amazing!! I'm an avid Chelsea fan, much to my husband's dismay (he's a Utd fan! - I know how did that happen!) I also love to watch football in my spare time too.
